Question: Hi i am a 25 year old female with no allergies apart from a strawberry intolerance and astma i have suddenly beacome extremely paranoid and frightened of suddenly developing deathly food allergies especially to nut i have never had a problem with nuts or anything else and beacome extremely paranoid and frightened about developing anaphalaxis its really making me depressed can someone help me put my mind at ease please help me extremely depressed and frightened thankyou

You are right that these thoughts about anaphylaxis or nut allergies are irrational. It is good that you recognize this. However, your anxiety IS very real and very uncomfortable, I'm sure.

Anxiety is very treatable with either an SSRI antidepressant (such as Zoloft or Lexapro), or with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or a combination of both. I can't prescribe drugs over the internet, but I do offer therapy at my private link below if you are interested. Don't worry - with some help, you will begin to feel better.

Yea ano but in my brain amd it's actually real And its going to happen even tho not allergic to nothing and i seem to think that i am suddenly going to develope a seriouse allergie go in to anaphalaxis and die
