Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Weird Sensation In Stomach
Question: Hello doctor! I am female 25 years old. I have anxiety before, but this past years I am experiencing "weird stomach sensation" its under my left rib?
I have an abdominal ultrasound and its normal. I notice that I have this when Im standing or sitting too long? But when im busy or staying at home its nothing? I really dont know what it is.pls help!

I have read your query.
It still seems to be all due to the anxiety disorder.
However, I never like to attribute the condition to psychiatric disorders unless an organic cause is ruled out.
The symptoms may also center around the cardiac conditions.
Therefore, I would suggest testing with a echocardiography and a Holter monitoring.
these are to rule out a valvular lesion and a possible arrhythmia respctively.
Valvular lesions are diseases of cardiac valves, which are in place to maintain a unidirectional blood flow.
Arrhythmia are the diseases if speed of the pumping of the heart.
They both attribute similar symptoms.
I therefore suggest the same to you.
If they are normal, meeting your psychiatrist again may be important.

It seems that its in my stomach? Its like "wind moving" its not pain but its just so annoying.. Sometimes its like burning sensation so i have to "move" or stretch or massage it to dissappear?

However, I still suggest trying tab omeprazole 20 mg once daily, before food.
