Suggest Treatment For Anxiety And Paranoia

Question: My friend recently passed away from cancer and I feel like I'm experiencing anxiety and paranoia from it causing my stomach to have random pains throughout along with a lot of stomach sounds while lying down. I'm curious if this is a normal thing and if there's any medication that can prevent panic attacks and anxiety.

I don't have any other symptoms such as weight loss, loss of appetite, fatigue, fever or centralized pain. I hope this is all in my head.

You are feeling acute stress reaction after sad demice of your friend. Stomach problem is likely due to anxiety. You can take dicyclomine and pentoprazole/Rantac for stomach symptoms. However to prevent panic attacks and paranoia you need short course of benzodiazepine drugs like clonazepam or lorazepam. Benzodiazepines are prescription drugs and you need to consult doctor for the same.
