Brief Answer:
You can get it removed

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and images. .
Some time screw head can cause pain. It can be due to irritation of tendons and nerves. If you are having pain than you can surely remove this screw. Only condition is that it should be done at least 6 to 8 months after surgery. So if your surgery was done 8 months or more time back than there is no problem in screw removal
After removal of hard ware you can start physiotherapy. You need to take some precaution in walking for one month after screw removal. After that you can start walking normally.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks

Brief Answer:
Empty hole will be filled in one month

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You do not need to be worried about that hole as it fills very fast. I believe in one to two months it will be completely filled. I would suggest you to start physio after screw removal. You can play game, 2-3 months after screw removal. It depends on bone healing and physiotherapy of your ankle.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
