Suggest Treatment For Ankle Ligament Tear

Question: I had twisted my foot and have a torn ankle ligament. The orthopedic put a soft plaster to fasten the healing. How soon will I recover and when can I get the plaster removed and start walking

A torn ankle ligament takes 3-4 weeks to heal. After the plaster is removed there will be some joint stiffness due to immobilization. It will take a few days physiotherapy exercises and a hot compress to help you walk normally.
