Brief Answer:
Management of alopecia areata

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
I have reviewed the attached photographs and you have developed alopecia areata.
It is a chronic inflammatory disease of the hair follicles charactersised by bald patches in the hair bearing areas of the body.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to consult a dermatologist and go for intralesional steroid injections every 3 weeks.
Triamcinolone acetonide 5 mg per ml is injected into the bald patches every 3 weeks. Usually hair regrow in 3-4 sessions.
Along with this apply I would recommend you to apply topical steroids like mometasone lotion on the bald patches in the morning and minoxidil 5 percent lotion on the bald patches at night.
All these are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
