Question: Went to Egypt got bitten several times from mosquito. Ankle swelled up on last day and whole leg swelled on flight home and went numb. It went down next day. Following day 3 spot like lumps appeared on toe and pain was awful. Following morning looked like first picture. A&E lanced it and gave me 4000mg fluoxicillin and 1500mg amoxocillin.Had to check next day and go to GP as filled up again see picture 2.They have seen me for 3 days now nits not filling up but looks like picture 3. I am concerned about 3 areas are these infection or eggs?? My foot is still throbbing constantly and feels like something is gnawing at it all time. I am still having cold shivers and hot sweats. I do not see a doctor until next Tuesday and my antibiotics end on Sunday.

Brief Answer:
Bacterial infection with allergy, do dressing.

Detailed Answer:
HI, XXXX
Thanks for posting query.
Read your history and seen the pictures of your lesions.
It seems that due to poisonous mosquito bite there is allergic reaction with super added bacterial infection leading to cellulitis, sloughing and pain and chills.
You have given proper antibiotics and continue till your doctor visit as still there is swelling and chills.
Take some antihistamine like Cetrizine or Levo-cetrizine or Benadryl for 3-4 days to control allergic reaction.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen for pain and inflammation.
But important is that go for regular dressing.
Clean the wound with Antiseptic lotion like Betadine and do dressing with antibiotic cream.
Raise foot end to reduce the swelling.
I hope, I answered your query.
If you have further query or clarification, please write back.
Wish you speedy recovery.
