Brief Answer:
Stop Doxycycline, use Calamine lotion.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Greetings from Dr. Divakara.P
First of all thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic for posting your query.

Was the rash as bad as it is now when you consulted your doctor? Probably, if the rashes were mild and less itchy the doctor might have considered it as harmless.

OK, for now first of all stop Doxycycline. If you have any anti allergy medicines like Benadryl or Atarax you can use it. If not, then use Calamine lotions 2-3 times a day.

If inspite of using Calamine lotion, the itching is not subsiding then you need to consult your doctor and ask for the prescription of Benadryl or Atarax.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.
