Suggest Treatment For Allergic Asthma Attacks And Sore Throat
Question: Hi Doc. I have recently shifted from XXXX to XXXX. I am staying in a service apartment which is right next to a metro construction site.
My problem is that everynight i get a small asthma attack and every morning i wake up wirh breathlessness and sore throat. There is sputum as well along with mild coughs.
The change which i can feel is that in XXXXXXX i was mostly sleeping in fresh air in comparison to XXXX apartment which is mostly air tight and devoid of fresh air.
I have been taking rotainhaler seroflow 250 on daily basis in XXXX. I need your assistance to understand the key issue with my health post moving to XXXX.

I have read your query , reviewed your medications and understand your concern.
After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having allergy to new environmental conditions (dust , pollen's ,house mite , pollutant etc) in singapur .
Few month will require by body to get adaptable to new environment conditions .
If I were your treating Doctor for this case , Till then I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Saline nasal spray thrice daily like solspre &
Combination Steroid nasal spray with antihistamine 2 puff each nostril twice daily.
Continue taking rotainhaler seroflow .
Gargle with salt water 20 mins after rotainhaler & nasal spray use to remove any spray coming to throat .
