Question: Hii, Sir i have been tested HBsAg + 10 day before while i feeling symtoms of jaundice my total billirubin at this time was 6.2 and sgpt is 124 and sgot 107 now after 10 days of medication my billitubin high at 9 and sgpt is 1834 now ad prothrombine test time is 14 really worried about Acute Fluminant Hepatitis b Please Give me suggestion My Gastroentrologist tell me every thing is ok really worried about liver failure please give me some suggestion..

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Since you are HBsAg positive and might be having acute viral hepatitis because of which your SGPT and billirubin value has gone higher.

But I will need your complete prothombin time (PT with INR) with other blood report (if you have done) to comment regarding acute fulminant hepatitis.

The important thing it not the test result of prothombin time but INR value which would have in your pathology report.

So,kindly share me that complete report I will give my opinion after that.

Yes,INR 1.16 is completely normal which is normal up to 1.2 so no need to worry about acute fulminant hepatitis.
