Brief Answer:
There is no evidence of Acute transverse myelitis.MRI report?

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

I have gone through the attachments you have uploaded. However, there is no evidence of acute transverse myelitis in none of the documents. There was a clinical suspicion, which should have been substantiated with MRI of spine.Did you get the MRI done?If yes-please upload the report.

Complications of Diabetes can also cause weakness in both the legs.Ensure proper treatment and monitoring of his blood sugar levels.

Please let me know-
1)How is he now?Has his weakness in lower limbs improved or is it persisting as such?If yes-can he walk?
2)Is there any difficulty in passing urine?
3)Is there a hostory of loss of sensations(hot, cold, touch) in lower limbs.

Ideally spaeaking, you should have gone to a neurologist by now,so that a formal neurological examination could have been done for the sake of diagnosis.

Please follow up with details so that I can answer this well.

Regards
