Suggest Treatment For Acne, Uneven Skin Tone And Dandruff
Question: Hi,
I have Acne , uneven skin tone and dandruff issue. My hair is very dry and dull at its bottom . the roots and upper portion of hair is in better condition though. It is persistent through out the year.
I am very much prone to tanning and it lasts very long.If I apply sunscreen and oily stuff the pimples keep multiplying in number.

I am dr. kakkar (dermatologist and venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.
I suggest you to use Scalpe shampoo (e.g 2% ketoconazole) for dandruff. Use it every alternate days. Use a gentle conditioner after shampoo e.g Triglow shampoo
For acne you may use Clindac A 1% solution for day time and Deriva CMS gel for night time application.
If you have inflammatory acne e.g papules, pustules, nodules etc you may also take an oral antiinflammatory antibiotic e.g Capsule Microdox- LBX 100mg (Doxycycline), twice daily for 2-4 weeks.
Use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g Cetaphil cleansing lotion.
You may use a gel based sunscreen e.g Suncote gel.
For tanning you may use Radant Lite Masque, twice in a week. Apply for 30 minutes, let it dry and then peel it off.
