Suggest Treatment For Acne On The Face

Question: Another silly question:
I hugged a friends older sister who had been a drug user in the past. She had several pimples on her face. I think some had dried blood on them (maybe) I didn't see any fresh blood. If in the process of hugging they contacted my eye (possibly with the scab) is there a risk of hiv infection. I heard that eye exposures only really occur when large amounts of fresh blood splash onto your face. In this case if there was blood it would be dry and a small amount (if any)

Brief Answer:
Please don't worry. There is no risk to get HIV infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello! I have been through your question.

Related your concern I think that in this situation you shouldn't worry because there is no risk to get HIV infection.
Yes, it needs a large amount of fresh blood to splash direct onto your eyes to have the risk of infection and not in a possibly eye contact with scab or small dry amount of blood and for more during a hug (that the possibility is very low).

I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.

So I would assume any blood on a scab on on the surface of the skin would be dead. I don't know that anything touched my eye for sure. It just may have. So in the situation I described there is no way to get HIV (if somehow a scab touched my eye during a hug)

1. No risk
2. No testing is needed
3. I can continue to have sex with my wife

Brief Answer:
Yes there is no place to concern at all.

Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thank you writing back in healthcaremagic.
I am sorry for my late response.

Please there is no place to concern because you can feel everything when touches inside to your eyes even a small thing.
I emphasise again there is no risk to get HIV infection, and it is not necessary to do HIV test.
Furthermore you can continue to have normally sex with your wife.

I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.
