Question: Yes, I have a white discharge that could be a yeast infection. I have no other symptoms, BUT, my husband has itching and discomfort and seems to have something. We have not had multiple couple pasts. I bought Monistat thinkng I shuld try that. Have not used. Want to know how to treat and what my husband should to relieve the genital itching. Thank you

It could be fungal infection.. Both of you can take a single dose of flucanazole tablet.You can take a course of clotrimazole vaginal tablet for 3days.. You husband can try clotrimazole cream for a week..

Keep the local area clean and dry.. Avoid excessive use of soap.. Use lose cotton panties..

If the infection doesnot subside with this your husband need to consult a urologist for examination to rule out other causes of infection..
