Suggest Treatment For Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding While Having PCOD
Question: this is my sister and i want to know her lmp was on 7th of november and it was due in 7th december but it started late i.e 21 december and till now it didn't stop she is still taking homeopathy medicines for periods regularity and PCOD.
in this start of the month she suffered from high fever and diarrhea.
please help her with this irregularity of periods and she suffers from the cold every single day..feel v lethargic due to this cold as she is student it becomes more difficult in concentration and she is very stressed and depressed due to hormonal imbalance. please suggest us what to do!!

I have read you query and I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) She needs to get ultrasound scan to identify reason for bleeding.
2) She needs to stop homeopathy medicines as they are possibily causing such bleeding.
3) I give tablet Pause MF 500 mg 3 times a day for 3 days to stop such bleeding in my patients. She can try the same tablets to control bleeding immediately.
4) High fever and diarrhea have nothing to do with this.
5) If she is overweight let her lose weight which will help her to regularise periods. Medicines are not of help always.

she is not overweight at all..she is 5'6 inches and weigh 53 kgs and she doesnt have any hirusitis as in PCOD ..she is not taking any sugary items..how to cure her PCOD?

I suggest her not worry about the periods irregularity. Few days of irregularity in PCOS is normal and not a cause to worry.
If she still wishes for periods regularity let her start on oral contraceptive pills.
