Brief Answer:
Allergy to thrush in your partner's vagina

Detailed Answer:
Hi!Allergy to thrush in the vagina leads to a mild balanitis (inflammation of the penis head) which appears soon after intercourse. It usually disappears within a day or two. In case you have been infected with thrush (a yeast called Candida)the inflammation would be more intense. In the first instance your partner would need treatment while in the second you would require anti-fungal medication. Other causes, unrelated to sex, could be sensitivity to shower gels & soaps or having had a bath with disinfectant added to the water (which can be very irritating).Since you do not have any urinary symptoms (frequency, burning, fever, lower abdominal pain)
it appears unlikely that you've UTI. Wishing you all the best!
