Suggest Treatment For A Skin Infection

Question: I have asked about this before but could you look at it sgain and give your advice as what you think it is it is spreading they start off like little pin pricks then go bigger

Hi,

Thanks for your query on HCM

I do understand your concern

With such presentations in my clinic, I would first rule out [Psoriasis]for which I may advise a skin biopsy where it's type will be identified. Treatment will be advised as topical steroids, vitamin-D analogues, anthralin, and calcineurin inhibitors etc as first step. Besides it you need life style change as below -

1)Take daily baths and soak it in water containing Epsom salts
2)use a good moisturizer after bath
3)expose area to bright sunlight every day
4)Try to remove stress and it is very important
