Suggest Treatment For A Reopened Wound On Penis

Question: I had molluscum contagiosum spots removed from my penis shaft with acid. I thought all of the spots were healed over. I had sex tonight. One of the spots near the foreskin reopened. Is there anything I can do to promote healing? I put antibiotic on to prevent infection.

Brief Answer: Antibiotic cream, Vitamin E Detailed Answer: Hello You did a good thing by applying antibiotic cream. Genital skin is very vascular, hence even slightest trauma causes reopening of wound. You just need to wait till the wound completely heals. Keep applying the antibiotic cream for a week. Take vitamin E capsules daily, this promotes healing. You can continue sexual intercourse with condom. This will reduce chances of trauma. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you
