Suggest Treatment For A Red Circular Spot On The Thigh

Question: Red circle presentation upper outer thigh red-purple center, center is sore and swollen, recently returned from Rocky Mnt National Park, two small we'd bite marks (we think). I had Lyme in 2013 my doctor feels this s not a repeate of Lyme and is sending me to surgeon in morning. Prescribed 500 MG Cephalexin by mouth 4 times daily.....is this a staf infection? Thanks

According to your complaints it can be either due to infection or insect bite.
