Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Testicle
Question: I have a lump on my left testicle which is very painful. It is not attached to the testicle but in a cannal. Ive had this condition before but not as painful

it would be difficult to guide without investigating it. have you undergone an ultrasound of scrotum? if yes then please share result. if not then i would suggest you to once visit hospital and get it done. further management will depend upon the test result. Pain in testis can be due to a number of causes including varicocele, cyst & torsion. thank you

I have been seen for this before and was prescribibed bactin and warm baths. Is there an over-the-counter drug .

Bactin is antibiotic. At the moment as you are having pain so i would suggest you to take Naproxen twice a day. It will help you in resolving pain BUT at the same time i would strongly suggest you to once get ultrasound scrotum done to rule out testicular torsion & varicocele if pain is persistent and severe in intensity. This medicine will give you a temporary relief and is OTC.
