Suggest Treatment For A Hair Follicle Inflammation In Scrotum

Question: There's a large knot at the bottom of my scrotam under the right testicle. It started almost a week ago, I initially thought it was either a bite or ingrown hair/pimple. It's gotten bigger and caused the entire testicle area to swell, and is tender. There's two small heads close to my thigh that burn and are extremely tender. I had my wife try to pop it and she got stuff to come out the other day, and I'[ve put Neosporin on it and have been soaking, but there's a large very hard area that's causing a lot of pain and swelling. I'm currently in between having Insurance coverage, so it's truly the worst time, but it burns and it hard to walk.

Brief Answer:
Hair follicle inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Actually this is a hair follicle inflammation. There is a pus inside (not much). What you can palpate as a hard area is inflammation of surrounding tissues. Most likely it has gotten worse because you have been squeezing it.
It would be good to consult general surgeon and have it incised. I assume that its impossible right now.
You may try to heal it at home. Please stop squeezing it. Wash is with water and soap. You may put Neosporin. And wear loose underwear so it will be dry and clean. Living it alone (not squeezing) gives a chance to healing.

And this is not a serious thing. Nothing urgent. It is limited inflammation.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
