I have outlined in main answer..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

From the clinical manifestation you mentioned , its clear that she is having UTI.
For such cases in my clinic , I usually put on cefixime plus ofloxicin combination as a antibiotic twice daily for 5days and Urispas twice daily to get relief from frequent urination and pain. I also prescribe cital syrup three times a day 20 ml along with a glass of water as urine alkanizer to arrest the further multiplication of bacteria.

Important thing - Ask her dring plenty of water (not a large quantity at a single time ) 4 litres entire period of 24 hrs. This will flush her kidneys well.

the following things also to be considered :-

1. If the infection persists even after usage of full course of anti-biotics , you need to check for complete urine examination, urine culture sensitivity.

2. There is a chance of having renal stones which may cause recurrent urinary infections. So ultrasound of abdomen is recommended to rule out any renal calculi.

Hope i have clarified your query, in case of any future queries feel free to contact me again.

Thank you Doctor!

What should be the dosage for cefixime plus ofloxicin combination for my wife?
Should it be 100mg+100mg of each per dose? or 200mg+200mg?
Similarly for Urispas, what should be the dosage 100mg or 200mg? and can this be taken upto 5 days alongside antibiotics?
I understand that Cital syrup has to be given in 20ml quantity. Can this also be given upto 5 days? Cital Syrup comes in 100ml and 200ml. Is that indicator of volume or strength of dosage? Please let me know and I will get medicines accordingly.
My wife's weight is 45 Kgs, and height is 5ft 2 inches.

Thanks and Warm Regards,

Brief Answer:
I have outlined clearly in the main answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

Welcome back,

All the outlined medicines are of adult dose only. I treat my patients with Cefixime plus Ofloxocin in the dose of 200mg + 200 mg, twice a day after food for 5 days, Urispas 200 mg two times per day for 5 days, cital syrup is a urinary alkanizer which increases the pH of the urine, there by decreases the chances of further multiplaction of bacteria its dose is 15-20ml along with water 3 or 4 times depending upon the severity of infection. There is no problem in using cital syrup for few extra days. As its just increases the urine pH which is good for complete cure.

You should discuss about these medicines with your local doctor who can monitor the treatment and advice you as per needs. These are no over the counter drugs and you will need a script from the doctor.

Ask her drink plenety of water as I have already mentioned earlier.
Also get evaluated for any renal stones , if infection persists.
