Suggest Treatment For UTI Infection And Back Pain

default
Posted on Fri, 31 Mar 2017
Question: I been diagnosed with a UTI infection just yesterday. I told my doctor I been having extreme chest sensitivity to touch and a little bit of chest heaviness, as well as back pain.` Doctor checked my heart and gave me blood test. All came back well, with the exception of the UTI.

Could the UTI be causing my chest to be extra sensitive to touch and have a heavy feeling?

Brief Answer:
You must have been given antibiotics for your urinary infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I've read your history.
You must have been given antibiotics for your urinary infection.
If so---I think the most likely cause in your case is acidity and gas due to the antibiotic course.
The gas due to gastritis can lead to a feeling of fullness in the chest (upper part of stomach called fundus, and the food pipe are in the chest).
Acid reflux can lead to sensitivity.
Please revert back.

Brief Answer:
it is still probably due to gas and acidity but due to something you ate

Detailed Answer:
Ok, then it is still probably due to gas and acidity but due to something you ate and not the antibiotic.
Please give a trial to Omeprazole 20 plus a liquid antacid containing simethicone for a week. It should help.

It sounds like I could definitely have gas and acidity, but I been eating the same food for a long time and never had this problem before. This chest sensitivity and heaviness started just a few days ago. Could it be possible that inflammation of my chest could be causing this? Or a pulled muscle?

Brief Answer:
gas and acidity can happen even if we have never experienced it before

Detailed Answer:
I do not think so. I think it is gas and acidity and it can happen even if we have never experienced it before. Please try my recommendation and revert back.
We always have the option of exploring other possibilities if it does not work--regards
