Question: Hi,
My wife is diagnose following in pelvis scan-
1. Bilateral polycystic ovaries.
Detail: bilateral ovary are bulky with multiple peripherally arranged small follicles and echogenic stroma. Right ovary measured 3.4x2.0x2.5 cms (8.8cc), Left ovary measured 3.1x2.1x2.4 cms (8.1cc).
2.Anteverted uterus with endometrium 3.3mm
Detail: Uetrus appeared anteverted. Measured 7.1x4.0x4.8. Normal appearing uetrus with homogeneous myomtrial echoes. Endometrial thickness measured 3.3 mm.
Trying to conceive and worried. Please suggest?

Is she overweight.
She will need to start on metformin and maybe assisted reproduction will also be needed .

Her height is 5.2 and weight 65 kg. Which we know overweight by 5-6 kgs at least.
