Suggest Treatment For OCD Inspite Of Taking Prodep
Question: i am taking prodep 60mg daily morning since 4 years prescribed by a docter for ocd treatment. but iam suffering from the same. can the dosage be increased.

please mention how many mg of the add on medicine should take.

If a similar patient comes to my clinic I would like to ask him take fluoxetine 40mg twice a day. For add on to fluoxetine I would suggest that he should start clomipramine 25mg at night and gradually increase it to 75mg or 150mg in divided doses as required. Or fluvoxammine is started at 50mg at night and can be increased to 100mg depending on need if required.
However I would like to inform you that health care magic is an online forum and legally we cannot prescribe you the medicines as we are not physically examining you. I would suggest that you visit your regular psychiatrist and discuss the options mentioned by me. He will be more than happy to help you with the prescriptions.
