Brief Answer: Possibly, Yes! Detailed Answer: Hi and thank you so much for this query. I am so sorry to hear about this low blood pressures readings that you have reported. I am so happy you took upon yourself the initiative to do some real work before getting inn contact with us. Congratulations! These numbers are not good for someone being treated for hypertension. They all point to the fact that the medications she is receiving are probably too much for her. The doctor needs to review her medications and possibly drop down the dosages of her medications. Generally, I do not recommend clients to modify their treatment without first talking to their treating doctors but, i would be doing this exceptionally today. Stop the medications for high blood pressure and talk too your doctor immediately. If I had the list, I could have advised that you stop some and continue with a few until she gets the chance to meet her and get evaluated by her doctor. The best blood pressure reading is 126/97 and am pretty sure this was probably taken several hours after she had taking the medications. Yes, low blood pressure is more concerning than high blood pressure. Get this looked into as soon as possible. I hope this helps and addresses your query fully. Thank you for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. I wish you and your wife well. Dr. Ditah, MD.
