Suggest Treatment For HSV-2 Infection

Question: Hi:)
So twice now I have tested positive for Hsv 2. Scored 1.26 on the last one. The first blood test which was 10 monthes ago was 1.17.
Ive had no real outbreaks that came back positive from a swab test. I have had one or two tiny pimple like bumps that don't hurt and they are not open sores nor do they scab. However, before my last period, I had a tiny little scrap on top and went away in a day. What do I tell a future partner and how do I tell him and when? Does this mean Im not clean.? Im a very clean person and made a mistake and now paying for it I guess.
However, have had mild tiny looking cuts on the vaginal area that go away in a 24 hour period.
Do I tell A person I am dating that I have it or wait to and see if I get an outbreak.?
How and when do I tell them? Im so upset about this.

Thank you,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
tell them early in relationship

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Herpes or HSV 2 is a very common infection. One in five people in the US have herpes. It does not mean that you are unclean it just means that you have an infection. You need to let people that you will be having sex with that you have this infection because it can be transmitted to them whether or not you have an outbreak. It is necessary for them to use protection not to get this infection.
I am very sorry that this has happened. Here is a link where you can learn more about herpes.
