Suggest Treatment For GERD And Nausea
Question: I have GERD (mostly at night), a sliding hiatal hernia, and just a day ago started recovering from nausea (might have been a stomach bug). My stool has been clay colored for two days (after the nausea) and my stomach is "rumbling" since the nausea. No issues with bowel movements. Those are "regular". I am taking pantoprazole in the morning and ranitidine at night. I sleep on a seven inch wedge pillow due to the hiatal hernia. I have no stomach pain upper or lower abdomen and have been sleeping well...I just have rumbling and lighter stool. Eating light has actually helped me feel better and I have been on the low food map diet (no gluten, no lactose, no wheat, no high fructose). What could be causing the stomach rumbling and lighter stool? Thank you.

It is a small sliding hiatal hernia and my doctor does not recommend surgery. If the intestinal rumbling does not subside or stool does not darken up I will immediately contact my doctor. I have no pain front or back. Do you agree? Thank you for replying.
