Suggest Treatment For GERD Along With Hiatus Hernia
Question: Since one year I have been suffering from GERD as per the UPPER GI ENDOSCOPY REPORT(SLIDING HIATUS HERNIA WITH EROSIVE ANTRAL GASTRITIS) for which I have been prescribed ilapro 20mg am&pm apart from taking H2 blockers like zinatac300mg at night. I avoided spicy bitter, sour citrusfruits, pungent &fatty foods apart from Strictly follow diet Like Large Quantity Of Curd , Apple And NONFATTYFOODS. (But there is no relief what can I do .Pl. suggest XXXXXXX k

Also the diabetes might be worsening the symptoms as reduced gastric motility can be seen even in well controlled diabetes .
You are on an optimal dose of ilaprazole.
Ibwould suggest adding apro kinetic like levosulpuride which would help you with your symptoms.Consult your doctor for a prescription.
In addition to the dietary restrictions, I would advise to avoid lying down 3 hours after meals and raise the head end of your bed by 4 inches
