Question: Hi,

My elder brother is having Chrons disease and during operation was diagnosed with colon cancer and was treated accordingly. This was 3 years back. since past 2 weeks he got severe pain and is on liquids. PPP is not passing through his intestine as it has become very narrow at some places and has swollen.
I would like to call him to USA. He is currently in XXXXXXX

What are the treatments available here in USA? I live in XXXXXXX TX.

Thanks,
doctor

Brief Answer:
MD XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and Memorial XXXXXXX Kettering are the best centers who deal with it there.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As I understand you there seems to be a progression of disease leading to the occlusion of colon. Most likely there was end to end stitching of the bowel the last time when they removed the cancer part. Now it started to occlude the bowel again.

I think he needs a CT scan colon again to know what is happening around. Only then the next possible treatment options can be commented. I find the Oncosurgeon and their teams are equally skillful and effective while dealing such cases in XXXXXXX

If you are not happy with the way the treatment you can take him to MD XXXXXXX XXXXXXX or Memorial XXXXXXX Kettering Institute US. They are the best in US.

Thank you for the opportunity.
