Suggest Treatment For Alzheimer's Disease
Question: My wife has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. Will Cerefolin NAC be a worthwhile investment for her to take?

Cerefolin NAC is a supplement containing a combination of several vitamins. I am afraid though that it won't be of much help. No supplement has shown any efficacy in Alzheimer's unfortunately, it is not related to any nutritional deficiency.
I fear that the only options are drugs of the Aricept class and Namenda (Memantine). If your wife has trouble with digestive side effects of Aricept (you say "she can tolerate Aricept" but I'm assuming its a typo and you mean she can't), perhaps a drug of the same class like rivastigmine (Exelon) which exists also in the form of patches may be tried, patch administration through the skin could have fewer digestive side effects.
