Suggest Treatment After Exposure To Rabies
Question: Good morning Dr
I am XXXX. My 3 months old puppy died and Dr said he died with rabies
He did not bite me but his saliva by mistake gone inside in my mouth
I took my 1st shoot of abhyrab vaccine on the same day and then 4th,8th,15th day and last shoot is pending which I will take 0n 29 april.
I wanna ask u
1. Is there any possibility of rabies threw Orel system??
2 abhayrab vaccine is safe??? I read the above all patients said they heard something wrong about abhayrab????
3. I will do this course properly I am free from rabies????

But during vaccine feel stomatch upset and gas problem and yellow urine everyrime
Why this happen dr???
And after 5 shoot of vaccine should i worry about rabies ???

Yes, it is good thing that you have maintained good schedule of the rabies vaccination.
With good vaccination schedule chance of the rabies occurrence decreases to nil.
So after completing the schedule you can be free from the chance of rabies.
If you do not know about mixture of the saliva of puppy than chance of rabies decreases further.
So in my advice you should not worry for the rabies after completing the fifth dose of rabies vaccine.
For gas in stomach you can take the pantoprazole and domperidone.
For yellow urine you can take plenty of water. This will dilute the urine and decreases the yellow color urine.
