Brief Answer:
You'll have to lay down only for 5 mins...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I understand your concerns.

Now, Cardiac Perfusion Stress M1B1 test is measuring the amount of blood flowing in your heart when at rest and after exercise.

A small amount of radioactive tracer in your IV. Then, you'll be asked to lay down on your back and the camera will take pictures of your heart.

Then, you will be asked to exercise on treadmill or bicycle. And will be asked again to lay down on your back to take other pictures of your heart.

It will take less than 5 mins to stay laid on your back while taking the pictures. You will be having a medical team assisting you, so, I do not think it will be a problem even if you have back issues.

You can discuss with your doctor or any assistant before running the test about your back problems.

Good luck!
