Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Allegra Taken For Allergy

Question: hi doctor, i consumed novalclox 2 times, one night and next day morning. As per doctors prescription for cold and fever. It started itching from the next day, i took it. After that, i complained the same to the doctor. She suggested me to take allegra 120, i dono how long to take this allegra? :(. because it is itching daily, for that i need to take allegra daily.? what i can do to stop this???

Hi Doctor,

No , i took only two tablets. After that, this itching started, so stopped taking novalclox at that time itself. Now, am consuming allegra 120 for alternative days for this itching issue.

Allegra needs to be taken daily, not alternate days.
Usually once a night is enough.
Usually a 3 days course is enough.
If it persists beyond that, I prefer to send my patients to a dermatologist to make sure there is no underlying skin condition.
