Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX, Welcome to HCM,

I'd like like to take a moment of yours to explain something to you at first,

In a male / 74 yr old person (mind it i'm not calling you a patient, cause your ailment's still not diagnosed in this regard), while the Prostate is undersized , the primary focus is the urinary bladder..

Specially some of your symptoms described here actually match that too ("SIT AND HAVE THE WATER ON IN THE SINK IN FRONT OF ME. ALL THIS STARTED")..

So what we are dealing with here is most probably an Under-active urinary bladder which gets stimulated (neurologic) by the external stimuli(sound of water flowing in sink, direct/indirect visualization) etc.

Unfortunately Flomax won't help you in this regard cause the pathology is entirely different..

I'll be happy to guide you through , but at first the culprit needs to be detected first..

To do that, you need to undergo a few more test , I believe you've been through enough , still bear with me as this is really needed to narrow this down: -

1. Urodynamic study , USG KUB+PVRU , a fresh urine R.M (i believe you've been through a lot of times still a fresh routine microscopy examination is needed to rule out any residual infection) are must..

2. PSA (I didn't mention before because you must have been through several times)

3. Any CT-scan of KUB/Abdomen available in this regard ??

4. Any history of UTI in recent past ?

Please get back to me with these details so that I can help you in a better way..

It's a highly troublesome problem and I'll help you as much as I can with this meagre boundary and knowledge, so please believe that cure's not impossible..

Also don't forget to mention if you've underwent any surgery before ..it's great that the thyroid is being taken care of (apart from that I mean)..

In the meanwhile can you please stop the TRAMADOL for a few days to check whether it's improving.. as it's quite notorious for causing this too..If there's any pain please take simple Tab PARACETAMOL 650 mg three times a day after food for a shorter course of time(preferrable 3-4 days)..

Why are you taking Tramadol on regular basis ??

Please don't get bothered by so many questions as every one of them's important in this regard.....

I'll wait for your input in this regard to move a step further to recovery..

Kind Regards
