Question: I have had swollen lymph nodes for over two months now. The lymph nodes have caused me to have extreme tenderness in my armpits and breasts. My throat also feels very tight with swollen lymph nodes present as well.

Hi and welcome.
Well clamydia alone would not cause such enlarged lymph nodes. There may be some other infectious agent which is resistant to doxiciclina. It may also be viral infection. most common viruses that cause enlarged lymph nodes are mononucleosis, hepatitis b and c and citomegalovirus. Other bacterias beside clamydia may include pneumoccoccus or hemophylus. if you were in contact with animals you need to rule out brucelosis or francisella. I think that you should finish antibiotic course but after 7 days,improvement should be seen.
If there is no positive blood test, you need to do needle biopsy of enlarged lymph node. Wish you good health. Regards
