Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Left Eye

Question: My left eye for the past day felt a little sore, like I had been poked in the eye. I just noticed when I walked into a dark room when I blinked my left eye has a flash of light almost circular. Can I wait till tomorrow to see a Dr.?
