Brief Answer:
More details needed for commenting on drug

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

I can understand your concern to some extent but need more details. I'd like to know why does he want you to stop Zoloft or Sertraline?

You have symptoms like irritability, yelling at husband etc which could be occurring due to depression. Sertraline would help to reduce these symptoms but why he wants you to stop the drug? Is poor sexual relation the reason behind his behaviour or anything else?

Whether you have been diagnosed with some mental disorder by a psychiatrist? How's your present condition now?

Please provide me details so that I can proceed further.

Thanks. take care

Brief Answer:
You can discontinue the drug after consultation of your doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for providing details

In some rare individuals the drug is known to cause slight increase in irritability. If you are also feeling that irritation has increased then best thing is to consult your doctor and take proper opinion regarding the medicine. You can discontinue the drug and can discuss about some other drug. Mood stabilisers especially like Lamotrigine can help. The drug is relatively safer in terms of controlling mood swings. So you can discuss about this drug also. Other drug Bupropion can also help in controlling the mood swings and can help you.

You can discuss with your doctor regarding either of these drugs.

Thanks, I hope this helps you. Sill have more doubts please ask again.
