Brief Answer:
Use drotaverine and get Renal function tests, urinalysis and ultrasound KUB

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

Based in the history you have shared, at this moment for pain relief you can use antispasmodic like drotaverine or hyoscyamine and avoid analgesics. Get Renal function tests and urinalysis done and rule out any drug induced renal toxicity. Until tests results aren't obtained he can continue Z pack.

Drink plenty of water. If pain increases visit an ER and get Injectable pain killers and labs. Also get Ultrasound KUB done to rule out any kidney stones.

Hoping him a quick recovery. If you dont have any more questions, please close the discussion. You can also reach me directly through my profile in future, in case of any more questions, Regards.
