Suggest Remedy For Severe Chest Pain While Recovering From Pneumonia

Question: I was diagnose d with pneumonia and plueric chest pain a werk ago but have been experiencing symptoms for over 2 weeks now. Completed a coursr pf strong antibiotics. Having severe right sided chest pain. Location under the breast, arm and across the ribs. I'm wotried my bteast seems swollen and is tender to touch. Drs weren't concerned amd did an ecg but not an xray

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should get done chest x ray first to rule out development of pleural effusion and worsening of pneumonia.
With strong antibiotics, usually pneumonia and pleurisy recover in 2 weeks.
But you are still having severe pain in chest, so possibility of either worsening of underlying pneumonia or development of pleural effusion is more.
And to rule out both are these, chest x ray is needed.
So better to get done chest x ray first.
You can take painkiller and apply warm water pad for symptomatic relief.

thankyou for the reply. I beleive so too. I. live in a fairly small town and theres very few good doctors. the soonest I can get in to see my doctor is the 30th of this month

other symptoms include a cough, shortness of breath, loss of apetite, pain is constant even when resting. my right side breast has swollen slighty is there a chance fluid can escape from the chest wall?

It is known as empyema necessitans.
