Question: I have red, hickey-like marks on sporadic parts of my body (arms, legs, back, groin/pelvic area, and stomach. They don't inch or hurt and aren't bumpy; raised on my skin about as high as a mosquito bite. I've been experiencing sore throat, stomach/abdominal pain, and fatigue. I live in the middle of nowhere and none of the doctors within a 100mi radius know what it is. Can you help?

Brief Answer:
? Henoch–Schönlein purpura (HSP)

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

It is quite possible that you are having non-thrombocytopenic or palpable (raised on skin) purpura.
Along with systemic symptoms like sore throat, abdominal pain and fatigue, possibility of Henoch–Schönlein purpura (HSP) is there.
HSP is a systemic vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels) .

As an initial work-up you should go for complete blood count,C-reactive protein (CRP) , erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and urine routine examination.

Is it possible to upload close up of some of skin lesions in arms or legs?
