Question: I am having nerves pain above eyebrow region. It hurts even if I move my head. Also having sensitivity to sound. Whenever a sound is heard, a weired sensation goes in head.
I feel pressure near eyebrow and pain as well with some eye twitching and pain in between right eye and ear (head area).
I had prk eye surgery 1 month ago.
Whenever i bring my jaw down, a cracking sound comes near ears. Not having nose or face pain.
Can this be migraine or neuralgia?
or is it just tension headache?
the pain is minimised for 2-3 hours when I wake up in morning n then it starts again.
the pain is not continuous but it happens Like every 30 odd seconds or if I move.
please help me out.

Brief Answer:
possibility of migraine

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Unilateral headache with phonophobia may be due to migraine.
Other characters of migraine are photophobia, throbbing nature of headache, lasting for hours to days(2-3) increased on exertion and improves on rest and medication.
Short duration pain may be some other primary headache like Short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache with conjunctival injection and tearing(SUNCT) which is characterized by unilateral periorbital pain , redness of eye , nasal stuffiness, tearing.
The treatment of migraine is amitriptyline, flunarizine, topiramate, divalproate.
Pain killers may be taken with triptans for acute attack.
Other type of headache require evaluation by a neurologist and treatment thereafter.
You should visit a neurologist for proper evaluation and treatment.
Sound on jaw opening may be due to temporomandibular joint involvement. If any pain in jaw area near to ear or difficulty in mouth opening or chewing occurs then you need to consult a dentist else nothing to worry.
Hope you found the answer helpful .

Hello sir
I visited a M.D medicine doctor and told him my symptoms. He checked my pulse rate and bp. it's 90 and bp is normal. He said it's migraine.
He wrote a prescription of :
Betacap plus (once a day)

both for 10 days and tab headset only to be taken if headache is too much.
I want to know does this medicines interface with eyes healing as I recently had prk eye surgery. And I am also taking mesalamine and ramosetron hydro chloride tab n loperamide?
should I take these meds? Are they safe?
or am i wrongly diagnosed?

Brief Answer:
Migraine can be controlled

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Migraine is a type of primary headache which is aggravated with lifestyle disturbances and is controlled on proper diet and sleep with minimal medications.
The treatment may be episodic or prophylaxis for 6 months.
Repeated prophylaxis course may be required in some cases.
Migraine usually tends to disappear after 35-40 years in some person.
It is not a disease which can be cured but can be fully controlled with proper treatment and life style modifications.

Eye twitching alone can be present due to stress or fatigue but associated facial twitching needs to be evaluated by neurologist for possibility of hemifacial spasm.
You should visit a neurologist also for proper evaluation.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
