Brief Answer:
Could be due to rhinitis (allergic or infective) or acute sinusitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Sneezing, blocked and runny nose with irritation in eyes could be due to rhinitis
(allergic or infective) or acute sinusitis.

All these symptoms are mostly due to viral infection because of our low immunity or allergic to certain substances like dust, pollens or grass.

You can take symptomatic treatment which would be helpful to relieve from symptoms,

1) Antibiotics (quinolones like ofloxacin or macrolides like azithromycin) generally not required in case of viral infection but you can take it to prevent super-infection.

2) Continue to take anti-allergic drugs like antihistamines (cetrizine or levocetrizine) with mast cell stabilizers (montelukast) to combat allergic symptoms for at least 5 to 7 days but avoid using them unnecessarily for a longer time.

3)Take decongestants like phyenylephrine if you have congestive symptoms in nose or throat.

4) Steroid nasal spray like rhinocort, flonase or beconase will also be useful.

5) Nebulisation twice daily with saline or take steam inhalation 2 to 3 times a day.

You will start improving in 3 to 4 days with above treatment but it is very difficult to prevent allergic symptoms completely

However, the best way to cure allergy is to avoid contact with the allergen,so you can make out which particular substance is causing it and try avoid contact it.

If still problem persists then you should consult ENT specialist (if not consulted to a specialist earlier) who can recommend you certain blood tests with ESR and X-ray of face which will help us to arrive at a certain conclusion.

Hope this information will help you.If still any query then you can ask me.
