Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Right sided rib cage pain with referral to back and intermittent fever should be worked up for gallbladder and pancreas infection . A simple ultrasound abdomen followed by some blood work up will tell.

Till then avoid triggers like alcohol, smoking, spices, fatty foods, processed meals, NSAIDs or any other aspirin including naproxen, eat small frequent meals and prefer fluids .

Talk to a doctor and let them rule out these two pathologies. Once ruled out likely possibility then will be mere gastric discomfort like gastritis etc management of which is pretty easy.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
