Suggest Remedy For Pain In Elbow

Question: Hi,
I have a habit of pressing my elbow on the table / chair's hand rest, while I am seated at work. Am not sure if I have put pressure on my elbow in a wrong position, I am having slight pain in my left elbow for the last 3-4 days and it increases at some particular posture (like lifting my hand while combing hair, or trying to lift something heavy).
Please advise.

Firstly avoid activities involving keeping elbow on the table. Apply ice pack over the painful area twice a day. Take pain killer like Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day after meals for one week. Avoid lifting weights.
