Brief Answer:
IBS, most probably

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The history and previous descriptions indicate IBS. Hall mark presentations can include burning pain cramping alternating diarrhea and constipation.

I would recommend Tab Eucarbon . It is a mild laxative and has detoxifying properties due to presence of charcoal so has added benefits. Eucarbon is indicated in IBS ( irritable Bowel syndrome) and helps in regularizing bowel movements.

Eucarbon contains the following
Vegetable charcoal
Folium Sennae
Rhurab root
Essential mint oils and fennel oils

Sucralfate 1 g bd should also be taken in addition to eucarbon.

I would empirically recommend a two week course of a course of A PPI like Esomeprazole and a prokinetic like itopride to see for improvement, if symptoms persist then this combination can be alternated with Eucarbon and sucralfate. Mebeverine and hyoscine can be used if spasmodic pain episodes recur at a greater frequency. You may discuss these options with your doctor. Please consult your doctor before starting any medication.

A high fiber diet, stress reduction, avoiding caffeinated beverages and alcohol should also be some of the measures that can improve the overall outcome. Your doctor may opt and offer you for a colonoscopy if the symptoms persist despite adequate treatment.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
