Question: I have pain and itching and burning on my left hip and is now spreading toward my spine. It is bright red with tiny bumps and looks very much like diaper rash. Arms and legs are tingling and prickling. I thought it was dry skin.... but has been about two months and is getting worse. Any thoughts?

Brief Answer:
atopic dermatitis or may be herpes zoster to be confirmed by skin specialis

Detailed Answer:
hello
I have studied that Skin rashes can occur from a variety of factors, including infections, heat, allergens, immune system disorders and medications. One of the most common skin disorders that causes a rash is atopic dermatitis , also known as eczema.

Atopic dermatitis is an ongoing (chronic) condition that causes itchy, inflamed skin. Most often it appears as patches on the face, neck, trunk or limbs. It tends to flare up periodically and then subside for a time.

At-home interventions, such as avoiding harsher soaps and detergents or other irritants and applying creams or lotions, can lessen symptoms or reduce the risk of flare-ups. Medicated creams or ointments also can lessen symptoms.
I would suggest you consult a skin specialist and if he agrees ,take fexofenadine(allegra tablet)

Another chance may be because of bumps you mention and pain, it may be herpes zoster, again can be confirmed by physical examination by skin specialist-if it is-then application of calamine lotion, xylocain ointment for desensitising nerve pain, acyclovir drug may be needed
so contact a dermatologist
