Brief Answer:
? Viral Fever

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Thank you for writing on health care magic

I have gone through your history and blood reports sent. I would like to ask you a few more details before guiding you further:

1. Duration of the fever she has been having???

2. Is it associated with any rash or weight loss??

3. Did you notice any swelling of the joints?

4. Does she complain of joint pains in the mornings more or is it late in the day?

5. Has her vaccination been ok??

6. What medications she is taking for fever???How long does the fever subside after medications?

As of now, I would like to know the answers to these questions as we need to see if it is just a viral flu going along or something else. As for the ASO, we normally dont give too much importance to it as it is elevated in any child or adult who had a throat infection. Sadly, everyone in XXXXXXX always has high ASO with or without symptoms. . So dont put too much importance on it.

Do let me know these queries. Would guide you further from here

Brief Answer:
Pyrexia Of unknown origin

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Thanks for your reply

Well, Fever of 1 month is something we need to look into. It is some form of Childhood onset arthritis going on which needs to be sorted.

She will need a few more blood tests like ESR, CRP, Chest X Ray, Ultrasound abdomen along with Bone marrow if needed.

I am not sure about the medical treatment there, but for paediatric Rheumatologist you can Visit Dr XXXXXXX Sawhney in XXXXXXX at XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Hospital. If needed you can visit us at Medanta Hospital where I am working. But primarly a paediatric rheumatologist opinion is needed.

Do let me know for more queries. Would be happy to help out
