For hot flashes and high blood pressure you can use clonidine, it is a pill that is designated for blood pressure but it have and good effects to treat and hot flashes.
It should be prescribed from your gyn.

For treatment of depression you should contact with a psychiatric because he or she can evaluate your situation and can prescribe the proper treatment because there are many antidepressants.

I forgot to add depression too
I am sorry I did not see all of answer having trouble with computer,

long time ago a friend used Paxil and clonidine for hot flashes.

My husband takes cymbalta. What is the chemical difference in paxil and cymbalta.

Sorry for the delay in keeping the session going but trouble with internet.

Paxil or paroxetin and cymbalta or duloxetine are part of different class of antidepressants but together are used to treat hot flashes and depression.
Paxil is used consistently because it have very effectiveness in treatment of hot flashes, while cymbalta is new pill and are few data for its use.

But if your husband has taken it you can start to use it regularly and wait for good effects.
