Brief Answer:
find another doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
While it is true that hormone replacement does pose some risks as you get older, in cases like yours it is justified. You need to find another doctor or keep the one you have and find someone who specializes in hormone replacement. Many women your age with similar symptoms are kept on hormone replacement indefinitely by many doctors.
As long as you understand the risks of taking the hormones you should be able to find a doctor that is willing to prescribe it to you locally.
